Amgueddfa Cymru

Showcasing this world-class museum of learning

Amgueddfa Cymru is a family of seven museums in various parts of Wales. Each tells a different story of Wales’ history: art, buildings, slate, coal, its maritime and industrial past, but all are united in its vision to engage and excite and be a world-class museum of learning.

We have enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Amgueddfa Cymru for over a decade and have been commissioned to create and produce some of its most high profile publications. From the ‘What’s On’ guide to the Centenary Review, from the prestigious Companion Guide for the Cardiff Museum of Art to the much-loved catalogue (executed in three languages) for the ground-breaking ‘Kizuna’ Japan/Wales/design exhibition at Cardiff which explores the links between Japanese and Welsh culture over the centuries. And most recently, the fabulous ‘Flourish’ publication translating the Golden Age of Ceramics in Wales.

We are proud to play our part in showcasing this national institution and helping to take Wales to the world.

NB:Design understood our brief immediately, so could take on board what we wanted as well as bringing their own ideas to the table, which results in great collaboration
